Community

We love being a part of this city, and supporting events in our community! We've taught Charleston at the Oklahoma Historical Society's event "A Night in the Life: The Roaring Twenties!" People in our city ask us to dance at birthdays and other celebrations, which is always a great time!  If you are part of a community group or school and would like us to perform or teach for you, please contact us at swingoutokc@gmail.com.

Volunteering

By volunteering for SOKC, you not only help our scene keep running, but you can get in free for that night of dancing! Volunteer slots include running the front desk, DJing the music, or teaching a beginner lesson! Contact our Talent Management sphere in person or at swingoutokc@gmail.com to sign up!

Performance Team

While the main focus of our scene is social dancing, we also love performing. At performance team practice, we not only learn classic line dances and routines, but also choreograph our own! We've had the chance to perform at multiple events in OKC, at locations including Myriad Gardens and Will Rodgers Theatre. Regular practices are held the first and third Sunday of every month. Dues of $10 are paid every three months.
